Information about the charge controller
With the MPPT charge controller from Victron Energy, you increase energy output by 30% compared to PWM controllers, and the Victron Energy MPPT controller is also 10% more efficient than slower MPPT controllers. The charge controller comes with a manual, available in Dutch and English. You can also see the solar panel output via the Victron Energy app, called “VictronConnect,” which is easy to download from the App Store and Play Store. In addition, a fuse is built into the charge controller.

The charge controller is suitable for the following batteries: lead-acid, Lithium LiFePO4 with internal BMS, AGM, and GEL batteries.

Never connect 2 different types of panels to one charge controller, meaning panels with different specifications. For safety and efficiency reasons.

The solar panels can become hot. Make sure the surface on which the panels are placed can withstand this. Otherwise, the paint may, for example, bubble.

If you are using sealant for the installation: choose a heat/UV-resistant sealant, for example Sikaflex 252 (also check if the sealant can adhere to your surface).

If you stand on the solar panel, make sure there are no sharp objects on the panel or under your shoe. Do not stand on the solar panel with heels.
