The Victron Phoenix 12/800 230V VE.Direct SCHUKO* inverter is a pure sine wave inverter with high efficiency in a compact housing. Thanks to its elongated steel/plastic housing (IP21 protection class), the new Phoenix models are easy to recognize. With this inverter, devices that require 230V or 120V AC power can be powered from a 12V, 24V, or 48V DC battery.

*SCHUKO is the most commonly used socket system in the Netherlands for round grounded plugs (CEE 7/7), round ungrounded contour plugs (CEE 7/17), and flat ungrounded plugs (CEE 7/16). The socket has two holes for the plug pins and two spring-loaded metal clips on the sides for the earth connection. When inserting the plug, the earth contacts connect first, followed by the two live pins. The maximum rating is 16 A.

The Phoenix 12/800 is a powerful pure sine wave inverter with a power rating of 800 VA (650 watts) in a single compact housing.

The Phoenix series sine wave inverters from Victron Energy have been developed for professional use and can be used for a wide range of power applications – anytime and anywhere! The inverters convert DC power into AC current. This allows household appliances – from kettles to televisions – to be used at all times in cars, motorhomes, boats, or garden and beach houses. A noisy generator is no longer required.

Each pure sine wave inverter has a high peak power and supplies electricity without any problems for any load. Victron Energy inverters are designed for professional use. They are suitable for a wide range of devices with both high and low start-up power requirements.

VE.Direct communication port The Phoenix inverter VE.Direct series is equipped with a VE.Direct communication port, allowing the inverter to be connected to a computer via a VE.Direct to USB interface cable or to Apple and Android smartphones, tablets, MacBooks, and other devices with a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle. Proven reliability
The full-bridge and toroidal inverter topology has proven its reliability for many years. The inverters are short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether caused by overload or high ambient temperature.

High start-up power
Required to start loads, such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or power tools.

ECO mode
In ECO mode, the inverter switches to standby when the load drops below a preset value (minimum load: 15 W). Once in standby, the inverter briefly switches on at adjustable intervals (default every 2.5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter remains on.

Remote on/off
A remote on/off switch can be connected to a two-pole connector or between the positive battery terminal and the left contact of the two-pole connector.
